As promised, dedicated readers and the odd glancer, the follow up to “Costumes that begin with the letter D.” This one’s been a tricky one to put together, but I’ve worked my little butt off to bring you some awesome fancy dress outfits, that I’m sure you will love just as much as I do. And if you don’t, you will by the time you reach the end of this blog post. And that is more than a promise, it’s a pinky promise (And according to my little brother, those things are more binding than a legal contract.) Well, the best place to start would be the beginning, so let’s begin!
Pick a place that begins with F. France, of course! And so I bring you this sexy little number, the French Maid costume. We have many different designs of costume waiting for you at the Shack, head on over and have a look. These are perfect for any and every occasion. Particularly hen parties, or even stag dos. Yep, I’ve had many a bloke ring me up requesting a hefty amount of French maid dresses for him and his mates. Why not bring out your masculinity in a frilly little dress, right? No, seriously, if you ring me up asking for a bunch of these for a stag do, my respect for you will go through the roof. Obviously not everyone is going on a stag do. So where else can you wear one of these oufits? Do I really have to answer that question? I didn’t think so. Have fun, but not too much!
Those with coulrophobia may want to look away now, in fact you should probably skip this paragraph all together. If you’re not a scaredy cat, you should listen to me tell you how much I love this fat clown costume. There’s something comical about something comical trying to be scary, don’t you think? The bright colours are fine. But the mask… My god, the creepy face, perfect for Halloween, or for any time the need strikes you to dress up as a scary fat comical man in make up.
Feel fabulous in a Flapper girl costume, find a time machine and head back to the Charleston Era to find yourself in Flapper paradise! Short dress, long legs, killer heels, get the attention you dream of and more. It’s really that simple. And don’t forget that the Flapper girl is a fancy girl, pick up plenty of sparkling gems and wonderful accessories to really make this look go off with a bang.
And finally, to finish this off (the whole illiteration thing with “F” is actually quite difficult, you know?) we return to France! And I’ve suddenly forgotten all the French I know, other than how to say “I would like a beer, please.” Typical. Little French moustache, silly beret, some onions around your neck, and viola! Typical French man at your service. Adopt a very obviously fake French accent to top it all off, and you’ve got yourself the perfect outfit. Am I right, or am I right? Yeah, I’m so right. So why are you still reading these words? Go on to our website and buy some awesome costumes, silly! See you around.
